Chong Siew Ying will be participating in ArtAsiaPacific's "Guerrilla Talks" which are a series of short, lively and informal talk with artists, curators, collectors and architects. The talks will take place at AAP's booth at Art Hong Kong.

Following on from her solo Infinity at VWFA SG, Siew Ying shares with audiences in Hong Kong, her continuing interrogation of memory, space and place. Informed by both Chinese Ink and European aesthetic sensibilities she creates awe inspiring landscapes, from charcoal and acrylic emulsion. Rich with texture and philosophical inquiry, these sites of meditation, inspiration and drama present a poetic stage to consider Man's place and purpose in the world. |
