STATEMENT
The Park is a documentation of a vacant field being transformed into a park, in line with Singapore's "City within a Garden" master plan unveiled by MM Lee. For one year, a photograph was taken between 9am to 10am, always at the same setting of F16, 1/60, ISO100. This video is flanked by two videos: one of immigrant children playing cricket in the field; and another of a tractor at work. With the domestication of this field into a park, the immigrant children are no longer to be found.
