Now in its fifth instalment, CUT: New Photography from Southeast Asia is an annual exhibition organised by Valentine Willie Fine Art that began it 2008. It provides a dedicated and much needed platform for photography, a creative practice that is still relatively under acknowledged in the region. Now thematic in nature, the exhibition explores the aesthetic and academic impetus of various subjects and techniques to continue and create new conversations around the development of the medium.
